“THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE WILL OF GOD.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-12. “9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”*_ *Authorized KJV*
*The Holy Spirit reveals to us not only God’s Wisdom but He reveals to us all the things of God – God’s Will, God’s Heart, God’s Desires and God’s Plans. Concerning the Will of God both in God’s Word and in God’s Heart and Mind, it is revealed unto us through the Lord Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit. So then,
without the Holy Spirit we cannot count that we are living or doing anything according to God’s Will – No Way! Some people (even believer’s in Christ) think that they can live or distance themselves away from the Holy Spirit and still know and walk in God’s Will – No Way. Even reading the Bible alone without the Holy Spirit is a vain thing.
Scripture has already testified that The Holy Spirit and Truth cannot be separated (John 4:23-24), but even the Word which is God’s Will and Truth for us is also conceived by the Holy Spirit. As Scripture also has already proclaimed, the things of God – even the deep things of God – are revealed unto us only by the Holy Spirit.*
The wonderful and marvelous things that God has in store for us who believe in Him in Christ can only be revealed to us day by day by the Holy Spirit. It is not a matter of debate, those who do not believe in God in three Persons (The Trinity) and still think that they know God, it is all a vain thing, even those who have rejected to believe in the Son of God in whom we received the Holy Spirit through, they are also lost for without the Holy Spirit then there is no God just as it is without the Father and Son (Jesus).
*Let everyone of us then note this today and forever that there is nothing that we can do, get or understand about God Except by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit lives in us (believers in Christ) to reveal unto us the deep things of God, even understanding of the Word of God (the Bible) is by the Holy Spirit. Also some people do not know who they are in Christ, where they fit or belong, they do not know God’s desire, God’s plan, and God’s Will for them because their relationship with God the Holy Spirit is loose or not certain. Brethren, if anyone among us seeketh the Will of God,
or the Plan of God, or the Purpose of God for their lives, let them get into a close relationship with God the Holy Spirit by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives and constantly obey and actively listen to the Holy Spirit who will surely reveal it to them.
